5 Tips on How to Get Motivated

Getting motivated is not an easy task! But I am here to make it as easy as possible for you.

So here are 5 Tips on How to Get Motivated:

Tip #1 - Know What You REALLY Want

In order to get where you want to be, you have to know where are going! It is not important to know exactly how you are going to get there, but you need to know where you want to end up.

For example, I may know I want to weigh less, but I also need to know how much less. I don’t need to know how I will lose it yet, but I need to know I want to lose 10 pounds.

Tip #2 - You Must Desire Your Goal

Nobody wants to get up at 5am to go running, but if running in a 5K is your goal, you will be more likely to get up at 5am and go running. You had desire the end result if you want to accomplish all the steps in between. So make sure your goal is something you really want!

Tip #3 - Break It Down

Wanting to save $1000.00 to buy a new TV is a great goal, but it may take some time to accomplish that goal. And after a few weeks, you may quit and stop saving, because the goal was too big to deal with all at once. So, make yourself smaller, more attainable goals. Plan to set $100.00 aside every paycheck.

Tip #4 - Start Your Morning Off Right

Before you do anything, stay in bed for a minute and think about some positive things going on in your life right now.

Ask yourself, what am I happy about in my life right now? What about it makes me happy?

Then take that feeling of being happy and why it makes you happy and start your day off on the right foot.

Tip #5 - Do Something Small and Don’t Stop

It is really hard to look at a list of 15 things you need to do and decide where to begin. So, don’t try to get all 15 things done. Pick one, an easy one, and start with that. Once you have completed that task, cross that off your list, feel the sense of accomplishment, and move onto the next thing. Then complete the next one and you will feel even more motivated to get another task done, and continue to work your way thru your list.

Getting motivated and staying motivated is not easy, but if you follow the 5 tips on how to get motivated you can start off on the right foot, every day.

Tomorrow morning wake up and ask yourself what you are happy about and why, then figure out what you really want and really desire, then break it down into smaller steps, and finally start with one small task and get the ball rolling. Next thing you know, you will be finished with your first goal and moving onto another one.
